Tips & Logistics

This is a flat easy ride. Sunscreen up in the summer and be prepared for some gusty winds on the stop bank cycle and walkway.

Park anywhere along the trail or join the trail from your city accommodation.

Ride either direction, but ideally take the off-road option on your return to Gisborne City.

Be aware that this trail crosses State Highway 2 at various points. Take extra caution when crossing.
